Directors note: 2007 marks the 17th year i dropped out of film school to become... a lawyer. to commemorate the occasion, for your viewing pleasure, here is the documentary I filmed in 1990 of Tattoo Lou Schiberras. It took 1st place for documentary in 1990 'Canes film festival (as in Hurri-cane). It was originally filmed on 16mm, transferred to 1" professional video and finally professionally digitized (thanks to the Schiberras family). It was a fun time. I spent many hours in the studio and will never forget the ever so interesting things that always seemed to be happening. I will never forget my film professor's only concern when I originally pitched the idea. His words; "Be sure not to get to caught up and get a tattoo". If I only listened. My first tattoo was one Lou hand drew an my ankle, an ankh. I have had a few more sense. Enjoy! -ES 12/25/07
